RdD got ninety nine problems but dryness ain't one

ISSUES FACING SPANISH WINE: Ribera del Duero has image issues, that’s a fact. But I’m tired of hearing that the “region in drying up”, that’s a lie.

Yesterday, at a wine dinner here in Barcelona a few Danish wine importers where speaking about the increasingly dryer growing seasons in the Spanish wine region of Ribera del Duero. As a member of the American Association of Wine Economist (AAWE) I get these interesting graphs from time to time. This one shows the growing season precipitation in Ribera del Duero from 1861-2016.

So please find other arguments for hating on Ribera ;)
