西班牙OEM葡萄酒: We are dedicated in creating OEM wines for the Chinese market and have expertise from countless projects. Chinese wine importers and distributors use us to find the best producer for their own OEM wines. As the market looks today “best” frequently means “lowest price”, but more and more importers are looking to create a wine brand with real value to the consumer. OEM wines used to be for people on a tight budget, but today they are increasingly high-quality products. If we are looking at the world as a whole, 71% of consumers say that quality of OEM wines have increased (Nielsen, 2014 The State of Private Label Around The World)

The OEM wine producers we work with are all specially selected for the Chinese market. With advice from Eddie Wong at chinawinebusiness.com we have come to understand what aspects are the most important for the Chinese. First of all it’s pricing. Our OEM suppliers don’t spend money on marketing activities they can provide their services at least 20% cheaper that comparable wineries

Spanish wine is the most popular choice for OEM wine

Overall there was 180 million litres of bulk wine shipped to China in 2017 up from 143 million in 2016. The top exporter is Spain, with 63 million litres imported in 2017. The reason Spanish wine is the most popular choice is due to the price/quality ratio, but dealing directly with wineries can be complicated. That’s why more and more Chinese wine importers are choosing to collaborate with a trusted wine broker. Our head of wine broking Cruz Liljegren has repeatedly been requested to hold lectures, talks and keynotes on the current stage of private label & OEM in the wine industry. Most recently in 2017 on the Wine Business Forum Wine2Wine in Verona and also in 2017 on the World Bulk Wine Exhibition in Amsterdam.
